Fiona you are amazing to be able to even consider dieting with everything you have going on.
Don't beat yourself up over it, you deserve a medal for coping so well.[grouphug][grouphug]

[grouphug][grouphug][grouphug] for you Fiona, get well soon[msnsmile]

    Julie that's a great diary[clap]

mine today was not so good, i've been rebelling a little but managed to pull it back a little, self sabotage, well i think i wrote the book on this one[msnsad]

100% commitment from me tommorrow, it's my op on thursday so i have to starve from 8pm, no food after 8pm and water ok til midnight then no more than half a glass from midnight til 7am[msnscared] i think deep down this is why the rebel got hold of me today[msnembarrased]

my consultant rang me today because she knew how down i was after yesterday weigh in and asked me to think of at least 5 or more things that i have noticed since losing my first 3stone, she wants me to give it good thought and bring the list in to class on monday, this is what i have so far

1 i need to use my asthma inhalers less
2 i don't feel like everyone is staring at the size of my bottom when i walk into a room anymore
3 my dog walking jacket has a good 5 inches of extra room around my waist and hips than it used to do
4 my sisters keep giving me "that look"
    5 my boobies have shrunk[msnembarrased]
    6 i'm a happier more confident person
7 i feel less out of control around food
8 i have gone down two dress sizes
9 i don't have to suck in my breath to fasten my jeans, trousers, skirts
10 it's nice to sit down and not have to undo that top button on my clothes to feel comfortable[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

thinking of all this is cheering me up allready[clap]

mizzy im not surprised you are feeling better about yourself that list is so positive, it must have been a joy just to sit and write it knowing it was all about yourself. one thing i can remember the last time i lost a lot of weight, it was lovely to be able to go into a "normal" clothes shop and get into their clothes instead of going to the extra size shops, im getting there again ive had a good day today
    fruit salad and VLF yog
bacon egg tomato and mushrooms i slice of bread
    turkey stirfry with oyster sauce
    2 mullerlite yogs
hifi bar and 2 ginger nuts
good luck to anyone weighing in today
janny do you usually weigh in, AM because if its usually evening you possibly will weigh heavier then
fiona just keep thinking about good choices and dont worry too much at the moment think of the more important things, and slimming will eventually work its way to the top of your priorities
everyone else keep the aster targets in your mind and it will help with the determination

Well managed to lose ½lb, now is it because I have eaten more if that makes sense!

Mizzy you are doing very well and don't tell yourself anything else. Who will be looking after the children while you are in hospital? And how long is it for? Good luck and we will be thinking of you.

    good morning everyone

well it's bucketing down outside and i have to go into town, not my favourite place but it has to be done

well done Jaff on the 3.5lbs that's great[clap][clap][clap] i've found if you freeze the grapes they take longer to eat as you have to suck them like sweets, the red ones are especially nice[msnwink]

Fiona well done to you too and yes it may be because you've eaten more[clap][clap][clap]

i'm feeling much more positive this morning and thanks Pat i can add shopping for clothes in normal shops to my list too[msnsmile]

my op is thurs am and i should be home and well saturday, dh is looking after the children, he's off work and it will be a struggle but we've managed before, i'm quite anxious, don't know how i'm going to wake up without my coffee tommorrow[msnoo]

    have a great day everyone
