good morning everyone

thanks for your birthday wishes[grouphug] i got some lovely pressies, much better than when i was a kid and i always got combined christmas and birthday pressies

Fiona, i think 2.5lbs is good, very good indeed and i'm sure you'll have it off pretty quick, Jo was pleased to be going back to school[msneek] i think her little brother gets on her nerves, also she is a slave to routine so school holidays are always quite fraught

i'm off out this morning for a nice long walk with the dog and then popping into my parents after lunch for a quick visit before Jo gets back home, pub meal out tonight, we walk past the pub so if it's open dh is going to check out the menu, we wouldn't normally go for a pub type meal with the children but it's a tiny cosy sort of place that has been recommended quite a few times to us, not sure what it will be like so will just have to wait and see

have a good day everyone

Happy Birthday Mizzy enjoy the day.My son is back at college today so things will be quiet and I won'thear the fridge opening every five minutes but I will pack him off with anything naughty lying around so I am not picking .I weigh in tonight so fingers crossed I have not undone all the good work up to now -my big decision is what I want my target weight to be. It was going to be 10 st but having just dipped under that I feel good so maybe I'll keep it there.
My goal for Easter is to still be at target .

Have a good day everyone.

Had a good couple of days food wise[msnsmile2]

Girls are all back to school/college and I'm back to work today. I have made my lunch to take and have plenty of fruit to snack on and I promise to keep away from the biscuits that I know will be at work.

Happy Birthday Mizzy, have a good one!!!!

Julie - I haven't been brave enough to get on the scales yet [msneek], so don't know exactly what to say my target is!

But taking an educated guess at what I will weigh now - I wil say that I want to be half a stone less by Easter!

I would like to be half a stone lighter by Easter, and if it is any more I will be delighted!!

The sausage rolls are in DHs lunch box, the brie and bacon parcels are in the dogs stomachs, along with half the goats cheese quicke, half the cakes have come to work for the lads in the warehouse to eat, I am feeling proud of myself for doing so well!! Plus, we have room in the fridge at last! Of course we won't mention new york cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, christmas cake and mince pies[msneek], however apart from the cheesecake I can be be very firm minded!

Quick morning at work and then off to the hospital at 2.30, ED is now on such a barrage of pills to stop her being sick / dizzy spells due to the burning of her inner ear that she can no longer safely drive.

Have a good day all.

Happy Birthday Mizzy[msnsmile2]

I forgot it was Tuesday yesterday (my normal weigh day) so I weighed myself this morning and +1lb which I am very happy with.

I will be quite happy with half a stone off by Easter, I am not going to a SW class at present because I cannot find one that fits in with being a constant taxi driver for my daughter's constant activities, so I feel that I dont try as hard as I could[msnembarrased].

I hope things improve soon for your ED Fiona.

Have a good day all.

Evening All!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIZZY!!! I hope you've had a lovely day and got lots of lovely pressies.

Well, back to work for me today and back to school for the children so normality and routine return thank goodness.

Glad to say my motivation is back with oomph and I'm raring to go. I fly off to florida in 9 weeks and 3 days and would like to be 1 stone lighter by then. So by easter after 3 weeks in florida, I maybe will have had a small gain[msnwink].

Back to it today, got up early again to get on the treadmill, and was greeted downstairs by a little pressie from my dog, most out of character, but still needed clearing up nonetheless! So after all that I only had 20 mins left to do my exercise, but instead of thinking I won't bother I did it anyway, afterall, 20 mins is better than nothing. When I got home from work, I really felt that I hadn't done enough so I got on again[sporty][angel] and did another 45 mins making 7.5k in all.

Foodwise, Porridge for brekkie,
Tuna salad for lunch (tasted fantastic after all the rubbish over xmas), 2 apples and a frusili bar.
Another apple (I need to go shopping for fruit - not much choice!)
Cous Cous with peppers and vegetables
Water.

Hope everyone is managing to get back on track! Keep at it girls!

Julie B
