Hi all, sorry just been very busy. Not really been keeping to the diet at all, but trying to be good, and nearly fell off the scales tonight - 2lbs!
Got the new mag and am going to follow one of the food plans and see if I can keep on the straight and narrow.

I got weighed this morning and was shocked and surprised to have lost 1.5 lb [msnsmile]. After having a couple of rocky days over this last week I am amazed. Have to make sure I work at it this week tho and hopefully those days wont come back and bite me [msneek]

looking at my easter target though i think i've well and truly blown any chances of reaching it!
Julieanne, especially for you i managed to get into IHOP yesterday, i went for the new celebration cinnamon french toast brekkie and it came in 3 sizes, regular, large and super, i was very restrained and just opted for the regular which still came on two plates!!
the first plate had two eggs (scrambled) 2 sausage links and hash browns and the 2nd plate had two huge thick slices of french toast with cinnamon swirl icing and whipped cream
i'm almost ashamed to admit that i ate the lot[msnembarrased]
Julie B and her family visited us last night and it was great to meet up[msnsmile] she's looking fab and she has a lovely family, we had a good natter so if i'm a chatterbox then so are you Julie B[msnwink]
flying home sat[msnsad] and trying really hard not to think about it
will try to log on again but not sure, if not i'll be back to full "regular forum visiting hours" very very soon - monday![msnsmile2]

We had fireworks at our class last night.!!
The previous week everybody had reported good losses even up to 5/6 lbs but most of them couldn't understand why as they thought they had been a little naughty in a lot of cases.Last night we were told the scales used last week were wrong and the ones in use had been calibrated and were correct which resulted in everybody gaining - which did not go down well- and resulted in one member leaving in a terrible state -poor thing.
The scales told me last week I had lost 2lbs and this week gained 1/2 so I was not that worried but some members were and the gains were high for some .
I am trying not to lose more to keep within my target range and am having extra HB really enjoying the bacon sandwiches [msnsmile]

Just about to book the car for our trip next month[clap], and losing a couple of pounds (Janny you know have me worried that it wasn't a proper loss!!) is keeping me on the straight and narrow. Plus having a mouthful of mouth ulcers which is v painful and restricts what I can eat. Made a lovely mushroom risotto last night though. If it carries on like this I will be back on my post chemo food of jacket potato and cottage cheese all the time.
Still all good stuff as have a black tie evening on Saturday and might not look quite so awful in my gear[msneek], we are donating a week in the villa for our sins, don't normally go to these when the villa is auctioned off, but got our arms twisted by one of our employees. DH is off to the rent-a-dj mob as his is too small[msnoo]!!
