Mizzy Yes you are right, I make a very large omelette and fry light just does not work for me when making a potato omelette. I could halve it I suppose its one of those things that really keeps me going and I really enjoy them but I forgot I had had porridge (which I havent been having much lately) so back onto to fruits and yog for breakfast today so I can save my B's for later in the day[msnwink]
Just got back from a lovely long walk near the airport and saw the Virgin take off - it was English Rose G-VROS[msnwink]
Well done to Fiona, Paul and Elaine, very well done to you all[clap][clap][clap]
Food for yesterday…
seriously oaty
chicken, bacon and tomato sandwich on malted grain bap with thin spread of lf mayo
seasoned chicken breast with jacket potato and garden peas
activa yoghurt, grapes, apple, banana and orange
naughty extra – liquorice
and I went to the gym
Glad you’re getting weighed next week Mizzy, should help you to stay focused. You can do it, we all know you can
Well done Fiona, Jaff and Elaine [clap]

i've been for my 3 mile walk this am, just had lunch and a snooze for the past hour, because i didn't sleep too well last night, now we're off out now to investigate a new spray tan place, not sure if i'm brave enough but if the staff are nice and not all size 8 model lookalikes i may be tempted, will report back later[msnscared]

plus about 3 mile powerwalk along side the runway at Manchester Airport[sporty][sporty][sporty]
good luck for anyone weighing in tonight[clap]
0.5lb, that's good Tracey for a weekend away, just a small blip[msnsmile]
Julie, how can i tell if my walk is a powerwalk?, i walk fast and then slow a little then fast again, i take about 50-60 minutes now to do three miles sometimes it takes longer depending on the wind and who you bump into on the way
i went and checked out the tanning salon this afternoon and it's not for me, i'm too shy to show all my wobbly white bits for the sake of a little colour i think i'll stick with the olay summer sun on my face and neck and that'll have to do
food wise i've been pretty good but just sneaked in a little extra (small bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes)which i will have to watch, can't have this happening too often[msnembarrased]
Mizzy
Mizzy,
Fitness and power walking. The idea is to walk at such a fast pace that it would actually be easier to break into a run. It would be difficult to hold a conversation if you are power walking[sporty]
I power walk at around 6.5 miles per hour so today I could have done the 3 miles in half an hour but I stopped to look at the planes taking off[msnembarrased]
[sporty][sporty][sporty][sporty][sporty][sporty][sporty][sporty]
aww well my walking is sauntering if i compare it with you, will have to get dh to check the actual distance as 3 miles is a "guesstimate", i suspect it's a little more[sporty]
Mizzy
Morning all.Well done to all the losers this week [clap][clap][clap][clap] and the gains don't seem too bad either so keep going everyone.
I have lost 1/2 lb from last week so am still within my target range of 9st 5 but have lost a total of 2 st 6 lbs so have up dated my profile below.
I have had to stop running for the last week and a half as an old knee injury came back so I sent for a knee brace but it hasn't arrived yet and I don't want to go running again without it so am eagerly awaiting the post everyday as I am getting withdrawal symptoms.Instead am walking but not so fast as I would like but it's something.
