Flights to Orlando.

I am in the process of booking the flights for next years holiday in Florida.
At the moment the best deals i can get are with MyTravel and ThomasCook.
Can anybody share there thoughts of either company.
Anyone have a preference as to which i should book with.
Any information very much appreciated.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

We travel this year with MY TRAVEL and they were great no delays and the staff were very good ,The plane was a large one and they only have 5 the toilets were down stairs and a small lounge so it was from MANCHETER TO SANFORD .

I would say they are prety much of the same Mark. Flown both this year but back to Virgin at Xmas though.

I have been looking at flights for next July/August and they are very expensive, First choice want £3,000 so does Virgin. We have just returned with First Choice (We went September) and the whole holiday was £2,850 thats villa car and flights, is this normal prices for July/August??
I have seen a few lovely villas on this web site and thought of doing it seperatly but doubt we will be able to afford those flight prices

Ali-UK I for one think first choice is over priced, I have a choice of airport from South Wales Bristol 1 hour away or Cardiff 2 minutes drive. Tompson and my travel are coming out over £200 cheaper than fist Choice although there is more leg room, I have flown tompson and My Travel many times and they are fine. At the end of the day its just a flight

I have just tried both and they do come out alot cheaper £2,300 and £2,400 Mytravel the cheaper[msnsmile2]

price hike, not unheard of but with this type of flight, be unusual for the prices to go up other than government taxes fuel surchages new emission taxes etc you get the drift. prices do reduce but then so does availability quite rapidly. so if you have set parameters of when where and how many and you have found the best price around then book it.

we have used virgin in the past, my travel and ba, we have purchased from this site(charter travel do get some good deals) we have also bought direct and used brokers off teletext. for me its where i can get the best deal from.
if you look on teletext you can see that at certain times of the year a fly drive will cost you £69 at the last minute(plus add ons) but your travel dates need to be very flexible, also in the past we have bought a fly drive before then cancelled the car/insurance and hired one from this site.
however there have been occasions where we have waited and waited or just decided the week before to go, got a great flight price then spent hours trawling this site and the rest of internet world to get that dream villa(nowt like a bit of pressure!)

so , as i said do whats right for your family - pays your money, takes your choice[msnsmile2] it ll be great tho whatever

I have flown both in the past few years. They are pretty much the same. If you get the option the cheap upgrade can be worthwhile. But to be honest for the price they are very good value for direct flights. If I had the choice I would go with Mytravel as they are doing very well this year and lead the charter on time airlines.
