HI there is a lot of places to eat the hotels have cafes and restaurants also lots on the strip .
The weather Is warm most of the year we were there in july and 104 on the streets so we drank plenty of water .It should be quite warm now but you will need a cardigan when you go inside as in FLORIDA with the air-con .You do not go to LAS VEGAS to save money but to lose it or if you are lucky to win but you can have fun just watching people .
    have a lovely holiday

We have been twice and it is a real experience. There is plenty to see - just looking around all the hotels. Don't forget to go to the laser light show right at the top of the strip - sorry but can't remember the name but if you ask in your hotel somebody will be able to advise. Whilst we were there we also did a day trip to the Grand Canyon - awesome and definately recommended. If you do this, shop around. We went on a light aircraft but there are also helicopter trips that are abit more expense. I am sure you will enjoy Las Vagas - there is nowhere else like it.

Our must sees were the Freemont Street Experience, Bellagio Fountains, Ceasars Palace for the forum shops and a trip to the Grand Canyon by plane.[msnsmile]

Loved have a gamble on the one armed bandit machines, great fun, just made sure we stuck to our budget of a tub of quarters. Mind you it didn't really matter as I was lucky enough to win $375 on one of the machines just after entering the casino.

Most hotels do a buffet and they are really good. We stayed at the Flamingo and the food there was pretty good and excellent value but the best buffet we found was at the Aladdin - food of every description from all over the world and I think it was about $24. The quality and choice was amazing - I'd definitely recommend it.
I can also recommend the Mac King magic show at Harrahs. I'm not really a fan of magic shows but this was absolutely hilarious and well worth the 20 or so dollars. It's an afternoon show and a great way to spend a couple of hours!

Does anyone have a link for the trip they booked for the Grand Canyon?
The more I look the more my mind boggles, thought it may be easier to go with a recommendation.
