Virgin PE Upgrade

We flew out on the 3rd from Manchester in PE, and the seats were still the old cloth ones. Must say that the width is fine, but it would be nice to have more legroom.
The inflight entertainment is still way behind some of the others.
Seat bacl tv, but only choice of film, no control over when it starts. All films start together and then only when last one finishes do they loop again.
Oh we did get a little bag of fruit, a couple of slices of apple and some grapes.

I was a nice suprise to get starbucks coffee served on a flight, I think it was united airlines.

We flew on the LHR - Miami route then came back on the Orlanndo - LGW route.

The new seats are much better than the old ones, it was a real come down when we had to fly back on the 747. The crew did appologise and said they were due an upgrade in the new year.

I have never had a problem with the food, better than some I have been on.

I thought it was just me!! I defy anybody to identify just what is being served from the sickly smell which is exactly the same whether it's beef, chicken, pasta.........whatever.
