Part 5

Today we were off to Busch Gardens and had decided to go using the free transport with the 5 park flexi ticket we had bought. I had done all the driving and Kath thought I deserved a day off today so who was I to argue with her. After breakfast at our usual haunt of La Quinta we sat outside and waited for the bus to arrive.
Boarded and were soon on our way, our driver was great and pointed out lots of stuff on the way and kept us laughing.
A little bit of excitement when a car and a lorry ahead of us decided to have an argument, lets just say the lorry won>
The bus arrived at Busch about 10.30 and we were told we would leave at 6.00pm sharp so be there or be left behind and a taxi would cost about $150.00/$180.00.
The park was fairly quiet and so we headed directly for Sheikra
Wait was less than 10 minutes so we jumped straight on, and what a ride it is... the first drop is just "AWESOME" was so impressed we rode it again and again!!!
Had a walk to Python and again walked straight on. James wanted to do Tidal Wave managed to talk him out of it as the thought of getting soaked to the skin again did not make me to happy, but could not talk him out of Congo river rapids so I had to look after the bags [msnwink] so while James and Kath rode the rapids me and Michael sneaked off to ride Kumba an managed to ride that before they had even set off and was there to spray water on them as they passed.
We all rode Kumba twice and again as most of you will know who have read through my other reports I do like a nice roller coaster and this is a good one.
A rest was called for so we popped into Pirates 4D this was fun with Leslie Nielsen camping it up and yes I got wet!!!!
Rested and relaxed we decided to have a ride on cheetah chase again good fun and if anyone has been on the Mad Mouse at Blackpool they are very similar.
Me, Michael and James then went on the Pirate Ship made me feel a little queasy but was still fun hanging up side down. We rode Scorpion before heading off to Rhino Rally.
Rhino Rally is a firm favourite with me and today was made even better when Michael was picked to be the "Navigator" and sat in the front with the driver.
His little face was beaming and the lady driver made such a fuss of him although he go us lost and trapped on the river he did OK.
Having survived the rally and made it back to base we stopped for a snack and an ice cream before heading into the Myombe reserve which was good and then headed off for Montu (At Last!!!!)
Montu is probably my favourite ride of all and guess what yes the JINX struck again!!!!
As we stood there waiting for our turn then when we were finally at the gates as the car before us set off all hell broke loose alarms and people running all over the place, as the ride had started up the hill someone's lap belt had come undone or had been undone and it was a good 20 mins before they were able to get everything sorted out.
Anyway all was well and our ride passed uneventful, I love this ride to bits and we rode it 4 times before setting off for a look round the Shire horses and then onto Gwazi before we had to go.
The horses were immaculate as usual and just look massive when you are up close to them, I love them and I wish I had taken a few pictures of them.
Gwazi was running with only 1 train today and as such the queue was a good 10 mins and having ridden it once we chanced our arm to ride it again and then had to make a bit of a dash for the coach but made it with plenty of time to spare.
Coach journey back was smooth and uneventful and we were soon back at La Quintas car park to pick up the car and set off back to the villa.
Dinner tonight was at TGI Fridays on the 192 we had been here 3 years ago but the service wa
