Part 4

We had planned to go to Daytona Beach today but after lengthy discussions I was out voted and we set off for Blizzard Beach for the morning and an afternoon at the mall (cant remember which one)
Arrived after a Pancake breakfast at IHOP to find the park was not too busy and we quickly found some beds and in best European fashion plonked our towels over them, slapped on the sun cream and set off for a swim.
It had rained the night before and for some reason our good friends the love bugs were out in force they were everywhere today annoying little things!!!!
Anyway did all the slides including Summit Plummet and Mt Gushmore although as usual the queues did seem to form on these quickly.
And then a leisurely wallow on the cross country creek before a snooze while the kids went nuts in the water.
I was glad we picked a shady area as it was incredibly warm today and we saw many "Pinkies" as we called them walking around who were going to be sore tomorrow, but with my Reimans P20 I was safe and of course being sensible wore a tee shirt at the height of the day.
Snacked at the park before setting off for one last set of sliding fun and then off to the mall for some more shopping and trainer spotting as it had now become known.
My youngest son Michael is trainer mad and as soon as we booked the trip he was saving his money for "trainers" and boy was he going to spend it.
Today's purchase were a pair of Adidas Predators (no I don't know what they are either)
But Dad did get some new socks and a new pair of trainers too!!!
Lots of stuff bought to much to mention so I wont and we headed off home with the boot full and the credit card melted
Dinner tonight was at "The Outback" and me and Kath decided to try the Blooming Onion starter and all I will say is MMMMmmm
Nice steak well cooked and our waitress was great tonight and looked after us really well and she had a nice tip from us.
Back to the Villa and a little drink tonight for the driver before bed and as we had an early start (again!!!!!) tomorrow.

Ate Breakfast at home today as we wanted to get an early start as we were going to Animal Kingdom and then over to MGM for Fantasmic with a nip home in between for a swim and dinner......
Arrived at AK and set off to fast pass Everest
We fast passed and rode it as the wait time was only 20 mins and it was actually more like 10 fast passes were already up to 12.30 - 1.00 and it was only 9.30
Thought it was fantastic I loved the whole thing and thought that it looked so realistic and as you may have guessed it I do like speedy scary rides.
Had a walk over to primeval whirl and the kids and Kath rode that while I held the bags sadly my picture of them did not come out very well.
And then off to Dinosaur wait time was about 10 mins so we stood and waited and were in quite quickly, good fun this ride i do enjoy it even with the scary bits!
Walking shoes were on and we headed off to the tree of life and went into "tough to be a bug" this is a fun stop for kids of all ages and we were lucky as no giants sat in front of Michael.
Loved the bit where the bugs are crawling over your feet to get out.....
We then headed into Africa and our date on the Kilamanjaro Safari, waiting tome was about 20 minutes so we got in the queue and waited have to say it was more like 35 Mins but no worries.
Safari was good and we got to see lots of animals along the way although I think it was already getting way to warm for many of them, and guess what we saved the baby elephant from the poachers!!!!!
While in Africa we took the train over to conservation station as we had never done this before, it was great the kids got to see Spiders, Snakes and all sorts before we went into Affection section to feed the goats and stuff.
And we began to wander back to Flights Of Wonder again we had always missed or chosen to miss this in the past
