As I am not the vegetarian Mannys still sounds good to me. I reckon that the All Star gill could well become our "local" while there and with a name like Beef o Bradys we just can't not give it a try, even if it is only to confirm that guinness never tastes the same away from home. I also know that if he finds out one of the group will not pass on an "eat as much as you want" offer. Chances are we will be in the clubhouse on Sunday morning. Thanks for all the info guys. We look forward to giving as many of them as we can a vist.

I hope that you'll find the time to post a report on all the suggestions you manage to fit in!!

Would love to know which of the courses you try come out tops! I will then be able to make some suggestions to my husband for our next trip out in April.

I never mind how much golf he plays whilst we're in Florida as it gives me lots of time to shop!

I can assure you Christine that I will take great pleasure in trying out as many resturants, bars and golf courses as I can fit in in our eight days. After that hopefully i will be able to add a litttle piece of information to the mountain that already seems to exist on these forums.

Definitely try the clubhouse buffet Sunday morning it is a firm favourite with our family. They even have a chef make individual omlettes to order with a huge choice of fillings and for those that cannot make up their minds what to have you can have as many fillings as you like.

I wouldn't bother with The Pub unless you are desperate to watch the sport. The food is mediocre, the prices horrendous and the service is just plain rap "with a silent C". I've been in there twice - only in case the first time was a one off but never again. The service charge is already included on your bill but they still print out the credit card slip to include a tip[msnmad][msnmad][msnmad]. There wasn't enough space in there for my husband to complete his "essay", so he continued over the page. I hate to see tourists ripped off and the fact it's fellow countryman makes me really angry.

The other places mentioned are within walking distance but have any of you ever tried crossing the junction? I did, 5 years ago when the traffic was a lot lighter and it was a nightmare. What they really need there is a button for you to push so you can get the chance to walk acroos safely instead of having to leg it.

I'm not trying to be negative here by the way - I have a home on Southern Duners and love the place - I am merely pointing out what's involved before anybody decides to set off and walk and gets their evening spoilt.

We agree entirely with Jacqui, The Pub is overpriced for very average food! Our bill was more for a meal here than at Manny's [msnmad] No competition as far as we are concerned its Manny's everytime[clap]

We agree wholeheartedly with the comments on the Pub as we went in with our friends that live in US but are Brits, and they were astonished at the prices he charges.
