Can some please confirm for me what the duty free allowance is into and out of Florida? Quite a heated debate going on here at the moment![msnwink]

Diane.
It's the usual allowance which is duty free, ie 200 cigarettes, etc both into and out of Florida for over 18s. Under 21s aren't allowed alochol in Florida.
Note that the duty free allowance (aside from tobacco, drink and perfume) is £145 back into the UK and that you can't combine allowances with another member of your party if you purchase goods worth more than £145.
blott
You may find it cheaper to buy once you arrive in Florida, most supermarkets and Wal Mart sell wine and beer. You will need to go to a liquor store for spirits. They are normally open till around 10pm
Cheers - thanks for that.[msnwink]

Plus those lovely ready mixed cocktails![]()
Ready mixed cocktails! I've missed those - will hunt them out this trip![beer]
Nothing better than getting the kids to bed, then getting a Pina Colada for Mrs MTP and a Margarita for myself, cool from the fridge, over ice from the ice machine. [clap][clap] Ah, the advantages of a villa!
