Thanks guys - it really helped. Normally we travel down to Gatwick the night before and stay over, but this year no 1 son's pal owes him a favour so is driving us down on the morning. I think I am really scared he will not turn up, or we will have an accident on the M25 or something dire will happen to prevent us catching the flight! As this holiday has been planned for ages I am terrified something will stop us going. I am sure it will all be ok but would rather have done our usual night before thing. Shall try the rescue remedy Sundowner, as have already drunk the Scotch!!! [msnwink]
