Hey all - My wife, daughter and I are coming down to Florida in February to go on a cruise that leaves out of the Miami area. We are thinking about coming down a few days earlier. Any events that happen in Florida around that time. It will be the President Day week.

It is a lovely time of the year not much rain If any and all the sales are on .It is quite busy as a lot of snowbirds come down from CANADA .
Not sure if there is any events in CELEBRATION they have snow coming down not surte when it finishes you will have to go on CELERRATION WEB SITE as there are stalls at some time of the year .
WINTER PARK is nice in winter as the steets are decorated .Enjoy your cruise .

BTW: Anyone else traveling at that time. Tickets from NYC to Ft. Lauderdale is really expensive! Especially, when you have to pay full fair for a 2 year old.
Snow is only over Xmas, not Feb
HOWEVER Disney have their Year of a million Dreams going on, which has fantastic prize giveaways, constantly in the park [more on Disney Site]
The Daytona 500 will be going on if that's of interest. It will be busy - you didn't mention the dates of your cruise, but you may want to consider tacking on a few days after the cruise rather than before. Have a great time!
This year Seaworld had a Bud and BBQ event for 4 weeks in Feb and just into March. Some excellent acts on the Saturday evenings. They haven't announced dates for next year but should hopefully be around the same time.
