We bought ours in the park. They do good ones where there is a space for a photo you have taken with the character to be placed next to their autograph. My DD got a Princess one but I saw Disney World ones wit the year on too.
Last time we went we tried something different. I got plain unlined record cards from a stationery store. I went on the net and found free clipart sites with disney characters and saved them in a file. I then put a clipart in the corner of the record card and along the bottom (quite small) I typed "Emma's trip to Walt Disney World 2005". We got a sharpie marker and when she met a character and got her picture taken we asked the character to sign her card.
Then, because the record cards are the same size as photos you can put them in the photo album next to the picture of the meeting. Or you can do what we did and buy a plain s[bad language filtered out]book from somewhere like Michaels (just off I Drive) and put the autograph and the photo next to each other.
Its great for smaller kids who can't read the writing to know whose autograph it is and makes a lovely keepsake.
First here is the one we bought...
And one we made ourselves....
