    trying something new each time...

whilst we have our 'favorites' like olive garden, kentucky mash and gravy, domino pizza night in, animal safari, twister, jaws, shrek, men in black, shamu, free bud etc etc etc. we do like to try something different each time.

last year we managed an airboat road down off poinciana and dolphin spotting off the coast

in feb this year we fitted in everest/fantasia/dolly partons dixie stampede and carrabas restaurant.

not sure about this time yet, but what have you done new or plan to do next time???

Next time we go I want to do a helicopter ride. I was very tempted when we were ther in July but just never got round to it.
Also plan to stay at the coast for a few days too.

Would highly recommend the Lakeridge Winery and we went up the Citrus Tower last time we were going to it, which was new and quite fun. We also went to the Florida's Natural place last time - kids enjoyed trying orange popcorn - we resisted [sick]!

Our kids fancy the helicopter ride and keep going on about staying the night in Miami.
We'll have to see about that one

The things we have tried are quite boring but here goes
    Pepperjack cheese (mmmm lovely)
    Houllahans Restaruant (Great)
Funspot (Great day out would recommend it)
Skull Kingdom (During the day as I was too scared)

Never travel too far away from the villa to be honest, next year we thought we`d give the Olive Garden a go, a trip to a beach (maybe)and Altamonte Shopping Mall if we can find it

yes it was an acceptable evening out,i personally wouldnt rush back. the cow girls were pretty and the boys hunky. my 15yr old son suffered it i think and my 11yr old daughter thought it was fab.

its a lot of rooting and tooting and a hooting an a hollerin![msnsmile2] you end with a sore throat!!

you basically support the south or the north and they have pony and barrel and running races etc , oh and the raciing piggies are awesome very good horsemanship and some lucky crowd members get to join in somehow(maybe ring up in advance and ask - but might be random)

there is a history side to it and some good ol flag waving telling the american story with a slap for the brits and independance etc

a whole chicken and stuff each, finger picking style fills the belly too

Last year we took a drive to Wekiwa Springs State Park and went canoeing. Really enjoyed it and the cost to hire the canoes was very reasonable. We saw gators, turtles and various birds and the whole experience was fantastic. Have a look at www.canoewekiva.com for more information.

one thing we never fancied was Kennedy Space Centre, but after reading some great reports on here, have decided we will give it ago for ourselves!

definately going to try boggy creek, swamp rides and the bus ride!! sounds exciting!

but will keep an eye to pick up tips too!
