    What a show!!

Has anyone seen Blood Brothers in the West End. My hubby surprised me with a night away in the West End of London as a birtday surprise, dinner, hotel, champagne roses and the highlight tickets to see Blood Brothers - what a show. It was fantastic, and the cast received a standing ovation at the end, they were so immersed in their parts they were crying at the end, as were most of the audience myself included[msncry]. It was one of the best shows I have ever seen, and a birthday I won't forget - fantastic[msnsmile2]

I have seen this show several times and could watch it again and again. It has always been a great night regardless of where I saw it or who was in it.It is also the only show I have seen that the audience has given a standing ovation to the cast on every ocassion .Magnificent show and my favourite .

I love Blood Brothers, I watched it in Liverpool at The Empire a few years ago.
It has you laughing out loud one minute then really crying the next...Great story and wonderful music.
I very often put the CD on...When my kid's are out [msnwink]

I have seen this show too several times. First time was in Liverpool with Barbara Dickson, she was fantastic and the last time was when I lived down south and saw it in Reading with the lead role played by the lady from the New Seekers, Lynn Paul I think! She was fab too. What a show, though after the first time I cry at the first song as I know what is going to happen.[msncry]

    I would highly recommend it.[clap]

We went to see the show January 1996. My husband gave me the surprise evening out as a Christmas present and I'd just given birth to my youngest daughter. It starred my teenage idol - David Cassidy! We were in great seats at the front and it was his last night of a 6 week run in London (I think Lyn Paul was in it too) and he did a speech etc at the end

Thoroughly enjoyed the show and have lots of good memories of the night out.

It was certainly a wonderful show It will start a discussion in our house , as I just can't remember who was in it when we went, it has to be over 15 years ago, in London I am sure!!
