Welcome to the OV forums Maria. Formosa Gardens is only a couple of miles to Disney. There are quite a few restaurants there; Red Lobster, Outback, Carrabbas, Giordanas, Dairy Queen, Taco Bells and a takeaway Chinese or Japanese. There is a Market Square (Winn Dixie) as well, and a large Publix about 5 mins up the 192.

A Hair and Nail Place
A 24 hour Walgreens over the Road
A Cracker Barrel
And...... a soon to be completed Adventure Golf Course
Oh yes and a Subway
..and an internet cafe

Yup - been to that walk in medical centre! Cost me near enough £200 for some antibiotics and stuff! On our last day!!! Thank goodness for credit cards!

we've stayed at Formosa Gardens a few times. The homes and community are great and the location excellent. It does not have "resort" facilities though if that is something you are after.
