Seating and meals on Virgin

Hello Everyone,
We go to Florida next year and have our flights booked with Virgin. When we booked they said we could pre book our meals and seats when we had less then 11months till we flew.

I have tried to book them this weekend,but with no joy[msnsad]. I phoned Virgin yesterday but all they said was try online ever day. Which is fine but I was wondering how would I know if I was doing it wrong and missing the window to pre book our seats together and meals. So I would really like to know if this was normal as I don't really want to be phoning Virgin every day.

Hi Susan

If you go on Virgin Atlantic web site click on "MANAGE YOUR FLIGHTS" you can follow the instructions to get your flight on screen. From there you can reserve seats, book meals etc. You will need the Virgin Atlantic booking reference, (not the virgin holiday reference) flight number, departure date & lead name on booking.
Once you've booked seats, meals you can go online any time to change these at any time if the need arrises. Have fun [msnsmile][msnsmile]

if you want to check out some seat ratings you can view these on seat guru and v-flyer

i cannot post the websites as they will be edited out but they should show up fairly easy on a google search

Julie (mach 2) also posted some seat ratings and a seat map fairly recently for virgin so a forum search should bring those up for you

i would say that it would depend on your party size and personal pref Susan

our villa owner directed us towards the sets of two at the back of the plane
rows 61 62 63 AC and HK but advised against the very back row as people wait there to use the loo and sometimes it can be a nuisance

sitting so far back does have a disadvantage too, pretty much last off so last in immigration queue[msnsad]

we're lucky enough to be travelling prem economy (upstairs) on the way there so not going to worry too much about that seat[msnwink]

but we're in rows 62AC and 63AC coming home
