Too early to book for 2008?

    Hi everyone![8D]
Have been reading posts on the forum for a few weeks now since our first trip to Florida in July. We stayed at Lake Berkley,in a Hapimag townhouse, but arranged through an agent. Loved every minute and are already planning to go again in 2008. We are hoping to stay for 3 weeks this time middle to end of August, as we have 3 children at school and I also work at the school, so a bit restricted on the when! [msnwink]We are looking to rent a villa privately this time and arrange our own flights and car hire. When do most villa owners start to take bookings for 2008?

Hi Albear and welcome to the forums.
It is never too early to book [msnsmile2] Seriously if you are restricted to when you can travel then it is a good thing to book in advance. I know some owners do have bookings already in place for 2008.

If you put and enquiry into the 3 sites above those that are happy to quote for your dates will respond and you will have plenty of time to look through and find the home that is right for you.

    Hi Alison

We booked 2 months ago for our trip in May 2008. When we enquired with the above sites we had dozens of replies and not one said it was too early to book.

We always feel better getting the villa organised early as they get booked up so quickly.

Put in your request by visiting the above sites - may as well start now as you will have lots of great villas to look at before you make your decision.

    Hi Alison,

Is is better to book your villa sooner then later if you are restricted to the dates that you can travel. Be sure to check out the 3 villa sites above as well as the car hire and theme park ticket links. The prices for the car and park tickets are excellent and there are no hidden costs.

Agree with the above Alison. We have already taken a booking for 2008 and have had several enquiries - so the sooner you start looking the more choice you will have!

    Enjoy plannng your holiday!

You might even find by booking early that you save money as well as some owners book at current prices as a bonus to those who book early.
