Can anyone tell me if My Travel and Monarch are the same company. Have booked flights to Sandford with My Travel, but have noticed Monarch advertising the exact same flights, times etc. am very confused as to who I am actually traveling with. Thanks

I think you will find that to Sanford My travel use monarch, this has always been my experience when flying from Cardiff.

They are seperate co's but the difference is Monarch is an airline and My Travel is a tour operator that also has its own planes............

When tour operators put together the many elements of a holiday (flight, accommodation, car rental, etc.), they lease - or 'charter' - an aircraft from an airline (such as Monarch).

Alternatively, they might decide that they'll charter a plane simply in order to sell the seats to a particular destination - they won't bother with the other parts of the package.

Whatever the service a tour operator requires, as Monarch's business partners, they can count on us to provide superb air travel and excellent attention to detail. That's why - for leading tour operators - Monarch is the carrier of choice.

That just about sums it up Julie, but just to confuse things Monarch also have their own tour operators, Cosmos and Avro, who will also have allocations on the same flights, hence them advertising it themselves
