    Hi Chris

I've got a mini cooper, gears (not automatic) and just love it. It nice, nippy and can park it really easy. The seats in the back fold down (as long as it's not the convertable) so there is plenty of room if you have lots of shopping, I can fit our dance schools tuck shop in the back!!. I did initially have the mini one and when it was time for a change opted for the cooper as it has a bit more ooooommph (engine wise) I had a test drive initially and fell in love with it straight away. Personally can highly recommend the "mini"[msnsmile2]

My husband has had four of them as a driving school car and everybody loves it, I have had two of my own and just love them. They are so easy to drive and comfortable, but I must admit the boot space is not very big so you do have to put the seats down to carry anything big, but they are a doddle to put down. Husband has the diesal but with the upgraded leather sport seats and all the chrome so it looks great and is economical. We of course have our Mini Mouse antenna's on. Would definitley recommend it. Robert learnt to drive in one and is always on at us to buy one. He has driven several different cars in this size range but still has this as his number one choice.

My son is learning in a Micra but whilst this was in the garage for its service his instructor was loaned a Mini Cooper. My son was very impressed with it and has put it as toop of his list for buying when his money tree blooms.[msnsmile2]

We bought one for a new salesperson at my firm. She asked for one over a choice of Ford, Peugeot, Vauxhall,Citroen, or Toyota. Got her a Cooper. BIG MISTAKE!!! Fuel economy poor, things kept breaking off it, constantly in garage for repairs. Depreciation awful. Might look good but standard kit levels not great. We traded in and changed to Ford. Maybe not as cool but far more reliable, better spec and cheaper to run. As with all cars though you get good ones and bad ones

We have a mini diesel and everyone in our family loves the mini. Husband drives it up to London Monday - Fridays and raves about the mileage he gets. I find it a fun car to drive and our two daughers don't mind using the two rear seats as they say 'its cosy and fun'. We'll definitely get another mini (diesel).

Jane my wife used to have a Mini Cooper automatic, she loved it, she says that its the best car she has ever had and can't wait to get another one. Looked even better when we added the Disney aerial thingy to the car aerial
