Virgin Glasgow - Orlando 2007

Just wondered if people were aware that Virgin are starting a somewhat seasonal route from Glasgow to Orlando next year.



Next summer Virgin Atlantic will fly DIRECT from Glasgow to Orlando International Airport!

Departing on Saturdays from 23 Jun '07 - 14 Jul '07 and from 06 Oct '07 - 13 Oct '07.

My sister in law looked at the prices for late June/early July and the prices were all about £900 double that from Manchester.

10 flights a year does not a decent Scottish service make!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are not flying from manchester or the London airports you are always done for supplements and they can be huge. Double the cost of the Manchester flight is ridiculous considering the Manchester flight near enough flies over Glasgow to get there.

I think you will find that the aircraft Virgin are using for this service starts in Manchester and stops off at Glasgow to pick up and drop off in each direction.
