It depends what County you buy the product in as they are all slightly different. If you work on around 7-7.5% sales tax you will not be too far out. It's applied to pretty much everything although I don't know the specifics.
The only time when sales tax is included in prices in Florida is for petrol/gas where the pump price includes it. All other instances of sales tax are added to the price marked. But, at only 7 or 8 cents to the dollar, even on a purchase $100 it would only be $7 or $8.
Groceries and prescriptions are exempt.
