    Hi we are new to your forum we are due for relocation early 07 my wife hopes to get an L-1 visa i am on a spouses visa and wanted to know if anyone has any ideas/contacts where i could try to find a job as a chef without having the hassle of calling every hotel in the area.[?]

    Thanks for your help, the Disney idea could be a good start. Yes i am permitted to work on a spouses L-1 visa, We are just keeping our fingers crossed that all goes to plan. We have 2 excited girls ready for the venture, any other help or info would be good.

    You are permitted to work on a spousal visa providing you first get an EAD, employment authorisation documeent from USCIS. It is taking about three months. Dont miss this step out, it is illegal to work without. If you are moving to Otlando try all the theme parks as they all employ chefs. And the jobs section of the Orlando Sentinel. If another area, then the local newspaper isnt a bad place to look.
