We were there on SATELLITE BEACH and a lot of the us Air Force men and women came to watch as we did on the beach opposite to the base and the roar when it went off was great and at last it made it ,Clear blue skys as well .[clap]

If you get the chance then watch the live streaming over the internet. Not only do you get the shots from a distance like on Sky News - but you get to hear what mission control and the astronauts are saying..... and the view from the shuttle when its coming in to land is pretty impressive too.
Fab picture - we had tickets - but have been home nearly a week. Never mind - maybe next time.

We were staying at Cocoa Beach so we watched the shuttle from a bridge on the 528 it was fantastic it was definitley worth the wait the atmosphere when you are there is just so different to watching it on TV.![]()
