Old Town Kissimmee

Hi Everyone

I hope you can help me. October sees us returning to Florida and we just can't wait. Last year was our first time in Orlanda and we stayed in a gorgeous villa which was situated in Cumbrian Lakes just off Poinciana Blvd.

We are interested in visiting Old Town Kissimmee and trying out the drag race attraction. However, we are having a discussion about where this is located. Can you help and advise if it is worthy attraction to visit?

Hi Jan,

If you are staying at CL again these are the directions.

Come out of Cumbrian Lakes and turn right onto Poinciana Blvd, when you get to the top turn left at the lights. This is the 192, Old Town is on your left a few miles down. You can't miss the big-wheel and lights.
Yes, it's worth a trip if you like cars

On there we have a short music video of some of our best bits in Florida so far - and among these are the G-Force (the drag race cars you mention), Skycoaster and Slingshot - all of which are at Old Town.
This is one of our favourite places and we find ourselves there most Thursday/Friday and Saturday nights as the atmosphere, live music and cars + bikes on display are amazing.

HI the marker post 8 is on the HIGHWAY 192 and the car are good to see , So if you come up POINCIANA BLVD turn left and it is on your left ,The cars are realy good .

Glad you enjoyed the stay in a villa on Cumbrian Lakes (we love it too)[msnwink][msnwink]

We visit Old Town on each visit and find it a relaxing walk around.

We love Old Town, such a good atmosphere. If you are driving, get there early to find a parking spot or park over the street outside the restaurants and shops. Careful crossing that road though - wait for the signals, cars come from all over the place.

Gail it's on every Friday evening. We got there around 5 to have a good look around in daylight.
