CAN'T LOG ON PROPERLY

internet explorer problem??

on my desktop have quite regularly deleted cookies, temporary internet files and history via internet options to save space on computer

on restarting had to doubleclick on ov homepage log in and my username and password are automatically filled in then i can log in

just did wipe of pages on my new laptop for the first time now i can't log in properly

unless i deselect the tick on save my password, then i can use for my session but if i close down computer i'm back to a blank page for login again

any advice please?

seems to be working now

for some reason my cookie settings where on block

been on another website which advised me to go internet options, privacy, advanced and set to accept first and third party cookies

i don't know how it was set to block them as i have been using computer over last few weeks

the only difference is as above doing files cleaning etc??????

ps

just did another wipe of files as first mentioned above and my password and username were ok this time ???????

pps

set them back to block and wiped the files and problem returned

so put them back to accept and everything ok
