Thread: WHICH WATER PARK?

  1. #11
We plan to go to one of these parks in Oct for the first time. It seems from your opinions that both parks are fabulous, so I think I'll leave the decision to my children [msnsmile].

Can't choose - both have their plus points. We prefer the rides at Blizzard beach , but the children love the big waves at TYphoon lagoon. The children also like the play area at Blizzard - great for the under 12s. The shark reef at Typhoon is quite different too.

One thing we did find is that as a family of 5 , we aren't allowed to do the family slide all together at Typhoon - max 4 , but we can at Blizzard max 6. This makes a difference to us, plus the ride is much longer.

Typhoon Lagoon for me everytime Not into the scary slides and too much activity stuff, Typhhon Lagoon just seems to have more of a relaxing vibe all round to me!! Roll on October

I prefer Typhoon Lagoon. It has a beautiful setting with lots of palm trees and sand. You actually feel that you are at the beach. I need plenty of shade and found lots of shady spots to lounge around at Typhoon Lagoon. I struggled to find shade at Blizzard beach. Yes they do have slightly more exciting slides at BB but it all depends on what you want for your party. For me TL pleased everyone!

Am I right in thinking you have some time at the Gulf Coast? Depending on how far down you go there is a waterpark at Cape Coral. We tried it out in August and can definately recommend it. Its not as grand as Disney but does have great rides, lazy river etc. The weblink is
www.sunsplashwaterpark.com - closes end of Sept.

    Have fun![msnwink]

    Blizzard Beach
    No Typhoon Lagoon
    No Blizzard Beach hmmmmmmmmmmmm
    Typhoon Lagoon

See how hard it is to decide, both these water parks are fantastic and, hard as I try, I couldn't pick one over the other.
You will have a fantastic time in either of them.
