Ive been trying to read through all the threads on here so that i didnt have to post another piontless thread(sorry[msnembarrased]) but im still not sure about electrical items..
all i really want to know is am i allowed a ipod and a nintendo ds in my hand luggage(will also be bringing a book but i think i know thats fine)?

No problem Emma, it's still just liquids that are an issue things like laptops, ipods, mobile phones, cameras etc are all ok.

I am told that you can't take any make up either including lipstick and it all has to be in a very small bag

well having to go all that way without makeup is going to be a worry[msncry][msnwink]
We arived home this morning from Sanford and the only thing we were not allowed was anything in liquid form. Lipstick and roll-on deod. were allowed as were i-pods, psps, laptops etc.
The only difference seemed to be more people were being body searched and all hand baggage was checked again at the boarding gate.
Any duty free in liquid form was transferred directly to the plane.
All in all not alot different to usual check in procedures.[msnsmile2]

I think all make up is banned as I heard a woman on a television report asking what possible terrorist threat did her mascara come under.
the pale scottish look will have to be in vogue then !![msnwink]
At least on the way back you will have a healthy glowing tan![msncool]
