I read about the KSA rodeo closing on another forum. I don't think they're very good at keeping their web-site up-to-date! Isn't the Silver Spurs Rodeo an annual event? It's much bigger than the ksa one I think, although we've never been lucky enough to be in Florida when it's on.

Seems you're going to the penultimate rodeo Tricia as I've just had email confirmation from Kissimmee Rodeo that they definitely are closing on 01 September, which is their final rodeo.

Yes Blott, they announced it last nite, but did not give a reason as to why it was closing. I managed to get some boiled peanuts though, last time we went they were all sold out, so I had to try them this time - if you never tried them, you are not missing anything, they are like eating baked beans ugh!!!

This one is once a year, it is the part if the bigest Rodeo tour, all the best riders go. The whole of Kissimee has a 'Rodeo Day'. You find most business will be in fancy dress, lots of fun stuff going on. Its a bit like the FA cup final coming to your local town.

Their last performance was on 01 September so, sadly, Kissimmee Rodea no longer exists. [msncry]

Thanks for that Blott but we can still go to Silver Spurs , my poor husband has really wanted to go for our last 3 trips now but somehow the kds always managed to have a full diary on Friday nights . Maybe next year we will travel out to Silver spurs .
