Kissimmee Rodeo

Does anyone know if the Kissimmee Rodeo is still there. My sister is in Florida at the moment and was hoping to go on Friday night she was speaking to someone who said the arena had closed and the land was for sale.[msncry]

We went to it in June, and it was definitely still there!
Their website is still up & running too - www.ksarodeo.com

Just had a quick look and the website says 'closed for December'.

So looks as though it should still be on now.

There is another larger Rodeo on the US192 called the Silver Spurs Rodeo and even ESPN televise some of the events.

When you go, they announce that they are open every Friday at 8pm, but they close for the month of December...

The rodeo is closing for good in September. I believe the last one is on 1st September. It's a shame because we enjoyed a night at the rodeo!

That is a real shame. Haven't yet got around to doing this, will be there for the 1st September, so will make a note to make sure we go.

Just checked the silver spur rodeo website and it's definitely open for business. check out [website link edited] they have a full calender of events and as mentioned previously ESPN live shows.

Caryn, it's not the Silver Spurs, it's Kissimmee Rodeo that gwendolinemary says is closing down, although I can't find out anything on their website about closing.
