i think you can take baby food for use on the plane in your hand luggage provided you taste it in front of security to prove that it is baby food and you can ditch the jars that are left over in the rubbish before getting off the plane at orlando airport, we had a stewardess come around with a rubbish bag especially for food items that you couldn't take in with you

the rest of the food would have to go in checked in luggage
