We were on the vs75 yesterday, and it finally took off at 19:10. They had cancelled the vs73 flight (normally leaves at 13:30) as it only had 83 people booked (virgins words). What was so annoying, was at checkin they said vs75 would leave at 13:30, but when i checked on the internet a little later, it wasn't due to land until 14:00.
Also all though the day little information coming from Virgin + manchester airport on what was happening, until staff arrived at the checkin desk.
So delayed arriving, and the turn around now slowed as these flights are getting a thorough security check before anyone is allowed to board. Once that's done, boarding starts, but at least 50% of people have to go through another body pat down and hand luggage search. Once we had everyone on board, of course they missed their slot and we had to wait another 50 minutes. Arrived 4:10 uk time.11.10 local
