    Plus Size Ladies

Has anyone discovered any decent shops for plus sizes (UK 18 and over)? I'm familiar with Lane Bryant and know most of the major dept stores have plus size ranges. I'm looking for an outfit for a wedding just after we get back from Florida, and I know that after 2 weeks of all-you-can-eat buffets and US portion sizes, the outfit I've bought here might be a bit stretched!!

    Thanks.

JC Penney and quite a few shops in the Florida Mall cater for everyone mind you most shops in America do. JC's do a formal range too.

Ross dress for less have so really great clothes for the bigger ladies. They have racks and racks of them, it's a bit daunting when you first enter the store but persevere and you will find some real bargains.

They have stores in Osceola Mall (end nearest the cinema), The Loop, the cnr of OBT and Sandlake Road and one of the Outlet Malls on International Drive (past Wet & Wild towards Belz (prime) and it's first one on left, look for pink building Beds Bath and Beyond)

Ross is a good choice, I was lucky enough to get some really dressy items of clothing from here on our last visit.

Talbots is very good. They have a good range of casual and smart clothing. There is one at Mall of Millenia (junction 78 off I4).

Try Kohl's at the Loop. They have very nice clothes and do large sizes too. Also J C Penny and Lord & Taylor at Florida Mall all do large sizes. They call them Womens sizes.

I have seen adverts on TV for http://lanebryant.charmingshoppes.com/homelb.aspx on the 192. You may find something you like there.

I've printed the map for Lane Bryant and trying to work out where it is. Maybe wrong but I think it's next to Super Target on 192. Never taken any notice of other stores in that area as we always visit ST on our way home after dinner normally so hubby can search for more psp games and dvd's.

When we visited at Easter we also found that the Walmart caters really well for larger ladies....my sister in law bought quite a bit in there. May not always be dressy enough for a wedding - but worth a look[msnsmile2]
