    Pub Grub near Gatwick

We have booked in the Travel Lodge the night before we fly.

Last year we stayed in a B&B and couldn't find anywhere to eat, ended up in an Indian, not what we had in mind.

Does anyone know a nice pub with food.

We stay in a B&B in Horley and there are two lovely pubs to eat near there ! One is the 3 Bells and I think the other is the Crown, I'll have to check with hubbie though he's the one that remembers all the pub names !!![beer]

there is a pub between the Travelodge and the BCP Car park. turn right out of travelodge across mini roundabout and keep going its on the left. Syas it does food but couldn't tell you what its like.

We tend to eat at the airport as we do twilight check in and they like you to hange around for half an hour after dropping bags off.

I believe it's called the Flight Tavern - really nice food there.

Ye Old Six Bells used to be a haunt of mine, they do good food. Another is the Fox Revived.
A few miles further out you have the beautiful Bell Inn at Outwood, used to be frequented by Dame Judi Dench and her late husband. Another is the Plough at Smallfield.

I do apologise if these pub/restaurants aren't as good as they were when I lived in the area, I'm sure someone local will confirm this for anyone.

Lots of ideas there, thank you everyone.

Will do some searching and find out where they all are.

As a Gatwick local, I can recommend the Flight Tavern, or the Hillside Inn, both do wonderful food in a nice pub atmosphere. I haven't been to the Fox Revived for a while, so can't comment on that one.
