Here We are Again - Cocoa Beach

    Friday 28th July
Had a quiet day today. The landscaping in the garden was finished and we headed out to the Osceola Softball cages for some batting practice. Hubby had bought a new bat and wanted to try it out. IF you fancy a try it is on John Young Prkway just south of the Loop, $1 per 15 hits or $10 for 30 minutes - great value if you ask me. Then we went home for a swim and to pack the cases as we were haeading over to Cocoa Beach.

    Saturday 29th July
Said goodbye to the house on eagle Pointe for a few months and headed for the Beachline and Cocoa Beach. Arrived at 1.30 and were allowed to check into our Town house right by the Pier and overlooking the beach - Perfect!!
All got changed and grabbed the Bodyboards and headed for the waves. THe weather was perfect and the cool box loaded with cold ones [msnwink] so the afternoon was perfect. After a few hours we headed home to get changed before we went to CApt J's for some dinner, music and sunsets.

    Sunday 30th July
Woke up to another perfect blue sky and some great waves. Grabbed the gear and spent another 8 hours just body boarding, sunning and genrally chilling on the beach. Not to late a night tonight as the kids are heading for Space Camp tomorrow and need somerest after all that enjoying themselves.

More next week when the campers will be posting their thoughts

Would you recommend Cocoa beach as opposed to Daytona Jan?

It's interesting to see that even when you're not in your own villa Jan you still seem to prefer to stay in a house rather than hotels.

We don't own property overseas but we still prefer to self-cater too although I did say to DH this time that it would have been nice to have a few days at the end in a hotel to relax after the "hard work" of Orlando!
