August Weather

Hi Everyone,
I have just been reading some posts about the August Weather and it seems to be a mixed response. Does it rain alot in the afternoons??? I mean enough that it puts an end to your day or is it a short sharp burst?[msnsmile]

Daff,
We are usually in Florida during August and have had a huge variation in weather from year to year but never anything to put us off.
A few years ago we had heavy downpours almost every afternoon but they didn't last long and certainly didn't spoil our days. Last year the Floridians were desparate for rain when we arrived and we had several spectacular storms but usually in the evenings.
I wouldn't worry about it, just have a great holiday!

we went to Florida for years in August and yes it can rain in the afternoon. A heavy downpour and then lovely freshness. We always went to the parks early, back to accommodation for a swim, rest and lunch. Then back to the parks afterwards. Works very well and certainly recommend not letting it put you off.
