Worked fine for me. Looked like both the captain and first officer were waving like mad even though it was seconds before they put all the thrust on.
Sorry to ask a question on your thread but is the 1.30pm plane any more or less busy than the 1030am flight. We are using the 1.30 plane in November as they wanted an extra £160 for the morning flight. It is the first time we have flown Virgin for many years as we normally go through the kids holidays and fly indirect.

help me through a senior moment , why does it matter if its hot? don' t understand the technological bit about weight and heat help !!! still louis looked great and seemed to have a good effect on the pilot , wish i was on the flight , ah well nearly christmas
If its hot the air is thin and therefore the aircraft needs a longer runway to get airborne[msnwink]
Great video Julie, had it have been taken a week earlier on the 12th you'd have got me waving too.[msnsmile2]

Are you sure they weren't waving at him to get off the field (Could he be seen as a security threat??)

For those who cannot see it, just install quicktime (for free). You do not need the Pro version unless you want to save the movie to your hard drive.

Speke Hall in Liverpool which is owned by The National Trust runs along side the runway at JLA.
