    George Foreman Grills

Do any of you use the small model of these?
Just wondering what the most popular dishes are? Especially with my friends from the slimming club [msnwink]
I tend to mainly cook steak or chicken on mine - but I'm sure if I were more adventurous they must be useful for many other things????

Also does anyone know where I would be able to get a replacement drip tray - think I must have thrown mine out when I moved [msnsad]

you can make nice kebabs on it Julie

using wooden skewers add a mixture of cubed chicken with peppers, mushroom, courgette and red onion

sprinkle over whatever seasoning you fancy (my fav is shotz spicy morrocan at the minute) and away you go

Sausages are particularly good on the GF. Chicken is a bit tough, toasties are good.

We have a George Forman grill and we use it for all sorts of things. We buy the fresh ground beef from Publix and make burgers, mixed with herbs, mustard and the famous A1 steak sauce. They taste great on the George Foreman grill. [msntongue][msntongue]

    Great for toasties too!!

Even managed to do a "healthy" fried egg for my son on it too.

As Mizzy mentioned, I do skewers on mine, and they are so quick and so easy, and the sticks don't get burnt like they do on the BBQ!

Bacon crisps up really nice on them, and I also throw my mushrooms on at the same time!

Burgers are really great, especially more delicate home made ones, as you don't have to turn them, and they stay in one piece longer.

I also make salmon & coriander patties, and they come up really nice too.

Ours is the larger one but I believe on the small ones you can make great toast on the lid part that lifts up. Ours doesn`t have this part.

Ours came with extension feet on it as well to lift it so you can make fillings for pitta breads etc and push them straight into it.

We bought one for my daughter and her friends for their flat last year for UNi and being students they like to do things the easy way, so there's not much that doesn't get "Georged".
