That`s a great looking pool Liesa, wouldn`t mind having a dip in there myself just now. Mizzy the slide looks good fun as well no wonder the kids are all fast asleep having worn themselves out.

My son would love one of these. Thanks Mizzy! We've been wondering what to buy for his birthday. His list is endless. He changes his mind regularly but this he will love.

Funny you should mention the strawberry/Raspberries, we were only saying last week how we haven't seen any signs out locally this year for home grown ones.

"Unfortunately we have the hose pipe ban and although we have a large pool we cannot fill it"

Jan Unless you are under a drought order, if you check out your local water board, you CAN fill your swimming pool and paddling pool up with a hosepipe.

It's crazy but we can use a hose to wash the garden path pr patio but not to water the garden!
This is from the Southern Water FAQ.s

Can I fill my swimming/paddling pool during a ban?

Yes. However we would ask customers to consider not filling a swimming pool or paddling pool during the drought. If you must use your pool, please use cleaning products and filters (approved by your paddling pool supplier) to avoid refilling your pool.

I shall be running a summer play scheme during the school holidays and the slides would be great for the children that come along. we have lots of water fights with sponges and water sprays. it's a great way to keep cool and with 24 kids to keep happy and cool the moe things we have the better[msnwink][msnwink][msnwink]

Thanks for reply Steph, have checked my waterboard site for FAQ and yes I can fill the pool. They have applied for a drought order but even if this is granted we will be allowed to put water in the paddling pool, we are just asked to be considerate.
