    not florida related but......

for those of you with children and are looking to keep them entertained over the school hols

i've just bought an absolute bargain wetslide race for the garden

it's from halfords and at the moment they are half price £10[clap]

it's a two lane 6 metre slide with inflateable finish line and body boards, attached to the garden hose it has fountains coming from the middle to make for lots of slippery fun

i would post a picture if i knew how to but it's on the halfords website under garden play if you want to check it out

    the kids love it[msnsmile2][msnwink]

    Same here
My nephews would love it but we've had a hosepipe ban in place since early in the year and it looks like they might be enforcing the drought order they applied for earlier in teh year if the weather continues.

Eldest one is off toe Germany tomorrow and the youngest finishes monday so it look like it's down to the open air pool for us.

we just bought for Lauren and the holidays a splash pool, 10ft x 30inches deep, big enough for all the family!!
    theyre great
they wouldve loved the wetslide but not enough room in the garden and with the water shortage

I like the big blow up pools Liesa..we looked into an inground..but my son wanted an ice rink more...I never thought about a blow up at the time...I may get one for my grandson..buy a bigger one each year as he grows...he has a little pool right now which he loves..we can pick up the side and make a storm at sea while he fishes for crabs ..he is a real New Englander...
