    Disney's Boardwalk

Is Disney's Boardwalk near Downtown Disney? If so could someone provide driving directions, & is there a charge for parking.
    Thanks

No Charge for parking, self parking is just on the left after the security hut.

Directions are turn right out of DownTown Disney keep on this road for about a mile and then turn right at the Boardwalk sign.

We usually find it from anywhere on Disney by following the signs to Epcot Resorts and then Fantasia Mini-Golf. This gets us to the right place everytime!

Disney's Boardwalk is definately worth a vist. Its one of my favourite places.

We tend to go at night for a meal and a lovely stroll around the waterfront pier. There is a wonderful Sports restaurant, ESPN Club that the children love to go in (tv's showing every sport everywhere you look!)

Its also a great place to watch the Epcot Fireworks.

Make sure you take identification, as this is asked for as you enter the car park.

Hope you have a great holiday

It is the quaint looking place indeed. We popped in for a nice evening stroll this last trip as we'd never been before and will definitely go again.
It is near the Fantasia Mini Golf and the road to it is opposite the back entrance to MGM (if you know where that is)

When we've parked at Boardwalk, the guard has asked to see photo ID so it might be an idea to take photo ID with you.

    Maybe we look suspicious[:O][msnwink]

We were asked for ID too, I think it's because it is a resort area and not just a shopping/recreation area like Downtown Disney.

It is part of the Disney Vacation club resorts

The Boardwalk is a super place to spend some time. You can also hire one of the multi-person bikes and visit the Yacht Club at the other side of the lake. This is fun but there are some up hill bits over the bridges. We use this to justify having some of the freshly made cakes from the bakery!

    Have fun!
