    Coming soon..!

    Hey everyone,

My name is Donna Marie and I have just rented a villa for a friend and I to stay in from 21 July to 4 Aug. We booked it through an agency so it'll be either Bridgewater Crossing, Loma Vista or Loma del Sol that we'll be staying at. We are from Ireland and are looking forward to relaxing and enjoying Disney World etc.

We're flying into Sanford but as neither of us can drive, we can't avail of the rental car that's included in our holiday package so we were wondering if anyone had any ideas as to the best way for us to make our way to the resort, and when we get there how to make our way to the supermarket or to Disney/other attractions?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Taxi will be your solution, but it will be little costly. There are buses or shuttle, but not good as you would expect.

    Hi Donna Marie

    welcome to the forum

don't know about taxis but you could check with the community your staying on to see what facilities they offer, they may offer a shuttle service to the parks for a fee and they may have small supermarket/ grocery/ takeaway on site

you can get community info from any of the three villa websites above

    hope this helps Mizzy[msnsmile]

I would google local taxi companies and contact them to see if they could cut you a deal for the whole holiday;or perhaps you can persuade a friend who drives to come with you (car hire link above)

It is too late now,but what a shame that you did not look on OV to rent a house and book your flights separately. That way you would KNOW where you were staying and could have picked all the extras that matter to you, also you would almost certainly have a better quality home (most OV owners would not let their house through a tour co) and the OV management are fussy about the homes allowed on this site and they are all verified every 6 months

The owner would spend a lot of time helping you get the most out of your vacation and telling you all the little things that make your vacation great

Have a great time,Donna;Florida truly does spoil you for holidaying anywhere else!
