When you say "all the family" I don't know their ages, but if you check on the US Embassy website, it will give you the ages of those required to atted, I believe it is soomething like under 14 and over 79 don't need to attend for personal interview. It may save you a few fares if you are travelling by train etc.
Just checked and this is what it says.
"With limited exceptions, nonimmigrant visa applicants aged 14 to 79 are required to schedule an appointment for an interview with a U.S. consular officer. Interviews are by appointment only. The Embassy does not accept walk-in applications"
hi thanks hopefully we will all be together the ages are 20 14 and 11 but they all wont to come ,thank for the help [msnsmile2]

Why do they all want "holiday" visas?(B2)
I ask that because the Visa Waiver allows 90 days at a time. As the 14 and 11 year olds are of school age the Embassy might well ask why they need a Visa, that allows 6 months, when they should be at school(in UK).
If they get any idea that you intend to take them out of school it may jeopardise your chances of a Visa.
hi the reason will be to renorvate our holliday home and we will have home schooling for the 11 and 14 year olds

I suggest you get plenty of paperwork to show that the school authorities are happy for your children to be absent from school for 6 months and have "home schooling".(who from etc) Also plenty of evidence to show you intend to return to UK.
You said in another thread that you only got a B2 Visa(for yourself) valid for 1 year last time. I would not be surprised if you have problems this time.
