We tend to buy our drinks in Orlando to take home with us. There is a shop called ABC at the loop and another on the US192.
We were buying Smirnoff Vodka for about $12 a litre or 2 litres for $20. They also sell it in plastic bottles which cuts down on the weight.
We tend to find that the duty free shops in the US are small compared to the ones in the UK airports.

Same here Dawn, anything taken out would never last to come back again.

I will give ABC a look before coming home.

I bought 2 x 1ltr of teguila in Gatwick for £30 which is cheap, but buying my friend Golden Virgina I find cheaper in MCO

Gatwick ask £60 for 1 kg and in MCO the are charging $80 which works out a lot cheaper than £60

We do this too. I always seem to arrive too late for duty free at the airport as they close the sales for a flight quite a way ahead

We buy Jack Daniels at Sanford every time we go - they do 1.25l bottles there for a good price!

We bought most of our drink from the Winn Dixie liquor store. Jack Daniels 1.75ltr bottle was $34.99 plus tax.

As an aside. We flew into Sanford on tuesday, and from walking off the plane to driving out the airport took 35 mins exactly.

It was brilliant and our best ever by far. If the duty free is that good on the way home I will be well pleased.
