What is the point of Gated communities if anyone can turn up, say they are looking at rental properties with a view to buy and get waved through!!!!

probably on a cctv camera so they'll know how long it will take to look around and see exactly where you are?

Not all gated communities are manned or have cctv. I think it gives a certain impression, I quite like the idea, not sure how it works in practice to be honest? I am sure there are benefits to both types of community
