When we are in Florida we like to have a look around a couple of communities that we have never been to. This is to see if we would like to stay there (haven't found one yet that we wouldn't[msnsmile2])

Can someone tell me which are gated, don't want to be turned away.

I know that Emerald Island, Southern Dunes, Terre Verde and Lake Berkley are all gated and manned. There are lots more, so I'm sure others will add to the list.

I think it is only the Manors at Westridge that is gated as we have been on Westridge visiting and the part we visited wasn't gated

We had a look round some gated communities last time we were there we just asked if we could have a look around with a view to renting. No problems they just gave us a pass to stick on the windscreen/windshield.
