Have a great time. You are in the clear.
This is the link for anyone who wants to check or print it out.

It was [name edited] who were insistant with another guest they had to have six months but got the all clear from Head Office after they had checked with Embassy.
It's been in force for a couple of months now so I would imagine all airlines should have caught up with it.
Ann-Marie, have a great time, the six month rule has not been in force for quite a while, but as Steph says, some airlines are a bit behind times as they stand to get big fines. You could take a copy of the website with you, just to be on the safe side, but I wouldn't expect any problems
When we went a couple of years ago we realised too late that my son's passport only had two months left so we took a copy of the relevant page from the US Embassy website just in case the airline wouldn't let us on. I had also checked with the airline first and they'd told me it would be ok but I just wanted to be safe.

Thanks everyone so much for all your replies.
Robert, after trawling through the US Embassy website, which is hard going, I eventually found the thread confirming that the 6 months requirement is now waived.
Huge relief.
Kind regards

Why not print it off and take it with you[msnwink]
Anne Marie, how long are you going for?
Even if the airline tries to enforce the 6 month rule ( which I don't believe they will)that still takes you until 14th July, that will only affect you if you are going for 3 weeks.
Hi Guys
Thanks so much for all your help. Even checked with the Embassy this morning and they confirmed it only has to be valid for 90 days. Will print-off the web page and take it with me anyway. We're off to Southern California for 3 weeks - so looking forward to it now - and hopefully will be back to Sunny Florida next year.
Everyone have a great time this summer - wherever you're all going[msnsmile][msnsmile]

Ann- Marie,
Just for clarification(for others on this site)the 90 days validity only applies if you want to stay the full 90 days the Visa Waiver allows.
If you have 14 days left on your passport and you only want to stay 14 days in the USA you are OK to enter. See the quote from the website below.
<blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:Passport Validity
If traveling under the Visa Waiver Program, the passport must be valid for at least 90 days from the date on which the holder enters the United States. If not, the holder will be admitted until the expiration date on the passport. Note: Passport holders from Andorra, Brunei, and San Marino must be in possession of a passport valid for at least six months from the date of departure from the United States, even if traveling visa free under the Visa Waiver Program.
