Good luck for next week Julie at SW head office, I am sure you will be fine. I am a bit daft and buy clothes along the way so its good to hear that some of you are sensible and wait until you reach target.

Twiglet, hope the date went well, you will have to let us know all about it[msnsmile]

Pat, dont worry too much about the sweet snack that was beckoning you, you can always catch up during the week and you probably have the syns left to compensate anyway.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    Good morning all.

Had a good day yesterday, very long walk in the morning with the dogs, then Sally came and collected her Bosun, she had a super time in Florida, said she was going to get back on SW as soon as possible. We had bar duty at our Sailing Club last night, not one drop of alcohol passed my lips.

Hope the date went well last night Twiglet.

Julie I am sure you will be fine at head office next week.

    Red day for me yesterday

Fruits of the forest for breakfast
Lamb shank, mashed butternut squash and sweet potato, cabbage. Yoghurt. Is sweet potato a HO or not, I could not find it in the book so decided it must be classed as a syn. Perhaps Mizzy or Julie could let me know.
Cold meat, egg and salad, pear and banana.

Have a good weekend everyone, I'm off to agility class soon as long as it stays dry.

    Jill and Brian

    morning

Pat, it's always handy to have something in for when those munchies strike[msnscared] i have a lifesaver box that's just for me and it has things in like

asda/morrisons low fat snack crisps (onion rings, bacon waffles and salt & vinegar fries)1.5-2.5 syns per pack
    hi-fi bars healthy extra B or 5.5-6syns
    biscotti ameretti 1.5syns for two
cadburys highlights mini hineycomb bites 4.5syns
cadburys highlights mocha biscuit bars 3syns
    options hot choc drinks 2syns

those carbohydrate munchies usually hit me too, just before that totm[msnsad]

what us women have to put up with hey?

Kazzie, i'd love to buy clothes along the way but i always find something else that is more urgent, i have some basics that will get me through the winter so may as well wait until i get out to sunny florida[msnwink]

Morning gals. If I had a munch box like yours Mizzy I know how long it would last in my house!

Blew everything to whatsit last night went out for a Thai, which I don't particularly like but ED and DH were up for it, so went along with it. Forced myself to drink a couple of glasses of wine too, but was up early today. Long walk with the hounds and have the day off today! So now have tons of housework to do, wash & hoover floors, dust, washing and make up next week's menu plan. So am just about to pour through SW mag and am going to do the week plans with a few adaptation, and if my lot are not happy with it, I will just cook a jacket pot or something for me while they have something different. Of course if I ever knew how many to plan for each night that would be a big help[msnmad].

Theresa hope you had a fun night, we want to hear all the details[msnwink]. Jill I think sweet potatoes are healthier than ordinary ones, in fact have just looked at my book and they are free foods with HH beside them, so extra nutritious. I think I will give that and the butternut mash a try tonight with some beef. Yes I did have a look at the site you mentioned thanks, that sent me off to the Bristol Cancer Diet so have been looking at some additional supplements, and definately getting organic meat and veg and eggs etc. Also pouring through the Cancer Research site which has lots of info as well. However, this news seems to have sent ED into rubbish comfort food mode as she is eating the worst possible stuff. I will persevere though!

So no more glasses of wine for me, going to give it a go for a week and see if there is any difference, up the intake of fruit and veg and read my book again.

I can recommend the satsumas at the moment, very good when you are desperate for something sweet. Also our SW consultant sells low-sugar sweets, you can't eat too many but the odd one is just the thing for that low sugar time of day.

Have a good day peeps, I always find the weekends harder - more meals to sort out etc. My mucky house is calling me[msnembarrased]!
