Evening all, well done the losers![clap]

Food diary was fruit for breakfast, cheese & chutney sandwich for lunch, apple & tangerine, chilli with tomato and onion salsa and banana for supper, along with copious glasses of water all day, and went mad tonight and had 2 small glasses of red wine. Enjoyed the first and not the second, so that's my drink for the week!

YD is out at friends (of them today) 18th birthday celebrations, DH had given her strict instructions to be home BY 11pm, but I managed to persuade him to let her stay at one of the girls home - easier I think, as i know full well she would have been home v late! I have given her strict instructions not to be home late tomorrow or she will not be allowed out for weeks. She keeps telling me we can't gate her - watch me says I! Just found out why the ninny is so tired - she has been taking a 25g thyroxin tablet instead of 100, she should be taking 175, so is taking 100 instead and falling asleep all the time. Takes her days to catch up too, and a late night never helps, they don't learn do they?

Ed came home tonight v fed up and had a rant about what the docs are going to do and why is no-one telling her anything. (I think the answer to that is if you know the questions to ask they will answer them.) Have waded through the response from the cancer research people, and now have to read through about 6 medical reports on the subject, of which I can understand about 1 word in 3! So medical dictionary at the ready, I am sitting down quietly tomorrow night to do that, so we can go armed with questions for the oncologist on Monday.

Dh been down to visit MIL today, definately losing the plot, I now have to start looking PDQ for a care home up here for her, or she is coming to live with us. So there's a list of at least 4 for me to ring tomorrow and get info on, so we can start doing some visits and see what they are like. In the meantime I need to find someway of getting her weekly shop bought and delivered for her, have found something up here, but need to find out if there is anything in the Bournemouth area. If all else fails, it is Tescos!!

Have a good day all, let's see a little less of us all next week. Theresa are you ok? We are all thinking of you.

Good luck Theresa, hope you have a lovely time.

We have had a great few days in The Lakes, although I have to admit I did miss having internet access. It's four years since I last visited South Lakes Wild Animal Zoo and it's even better than I remembered it. This place is well worth a visit if anyone gets over that way.

    Good evening everyone.

Julie - glad Lucys birthday went ok.

Theresa - hope your date goes well[msnwink] and well done on your loss!

Well done Pat and Jill, hope to be joining you in the losses department come sunday!

Mizzy - do I feel some retail therapy coming on?[msnwink]

Fiona - I hope everything goes ok on monday for you and your daughter. My thoughts are with you.

Well, I've managed to stay on track so far this week, up yesterday at 5.30 and did 6K on the treadmill, breakfast was porridge and banana, lunch tuna salad (again) (I know Julie - I will get round to the 7 day menu I promise[msntongue]) tea was chicken and vegetables.

Today, I hit Ikea, I wanted to buy some more blinds for my conservatory, which I managed to get as well as a few other things, funny how it all adds up even though its only £1 here or £3 there! I took the children into the restaurant for lunch, resisted the meatballs and had chicken breast with cous cous ( and just hoped it had no fat in it) porridge for brekkie and Salad with ham for tea, banana and low fat yoghurt for pud. Not counted anything but think its pretty much ok (lunch slightly dodgy but could have been way way worse - kids had dime bar cake!)

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend,

    Julie B

Hi, i've had a pretty good day, two long walks with Olly, one at the beach and the other up muddy country path, so lots of washing spinning round at the mo
i made another clafoutis and with peach slices, this one was much nicer then the apricot one and for a pretty healthy dessert the kids seem to love it!

Julie, good to hear Lucy had a great day, dare i ask but did the thorntons chocolate cake get the better of you?[msnscared]

Julie B, cous cous is a really good healthy food but some make it with added oil, it's syn free on a green day, you just add water and it's ready in mins, makes a nice change from a sandwich in a packed lunch[msnsmile] i would really love to hit the shops and buy new clothes Julie B but i think it would be a waste of money at the moment, i've changed shape quite a lot since getting Olly and we've only had him a month come monday

good to have you back Paula, did you over induldge at the weekend or where you an [angel][msnwink]

Mizzy, I was really good yesterday and ignored all the party food but later made myself an omelette but I did have a very thin slice of the Thorntons cake with a drizzle of double cream[msnembarrased]

I have not really eaten enough today, had banana for breakfast and mexican bean salad for lunch but could not face any tea so had a HiFi bar, think my nerves are getting to me as I have 3 days at SW head office next week and so much to learn, and I have to stay away from home[msneek] not something I have done on my own since my flying days[msnscared]
